Juyeon Shin, MS, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is the founder of Glory Mental Health in Fullerton, California. Board-certified since 2015, she has more than a decade of experience in outpatient, inpatient, residential, PHP, and IOP settings.
She provides psychiatric evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Her areas of care include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, OCD, eating disorders, substance use disorders, and personality disorders.
Juyeon's approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and tailored to each patient's needs and goals. Treatment may include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, education, and supportive strategies to help patients better understand their mental health and develop practical coping skills.
In addition to her private practice, she provides care through Lyra Health (Bend Health).
Education and Professional Leadership
Juyeon serves as an associate clinical professor for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner students at Johns Hopkins University and Yale University. She has also served as clinical faculty at St. Thomas University and as a clinical preceptor at the University of Maryland.
She previously served on the board of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners' West Los Angeles South Chapter.
Education, Licensure, and Languages
Juyeon earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kyung Hee University in Seoul, South Korea.
She holds active licenses in California, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, New York, Utah, and Virginia. Fluent in English and Korean, she is committed to providing accessible and culturally responsive care.
